Biography and Latest Hairstyle Collections of Stacey Broughton

Regarded as one of the best women’s hairdressers in the world

Directional, inspirational work comes as standard from Stacey. Widely regarded as one of the best women's hairdressers in the world, Stacey's knowledge and technique attracts a worldwide following of hairdressers, eager to learn from the master.
Stacey began his career in 1974 as an assistant at Vidal Sassoon and quickly moved up the ladder from stylist to Art Director where he travelled the world doing seminars and editorial photo shoots. The vibrant London punk scene of the time was a major influence and the creative and rebellious attitude has informed Stacey's work ever since.
After a stint in Hong Kong where he helped to set up the Rodger Craig Academy, Stacey returned to England and opened his own salon with Joolz Chan.
However, London beckoned and Stacey sold up and returned to Sassoons becoming Senior Creative Director at the newly opened Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy working with greats such as Tim Hartley and where he kept many of the world's top hairdressers riveted with his progressive work.
Citing Tim and Vidal as his influences Stacey also takes inspiration from the Bauhaus school of art, design and architecture. A total professional, Stacey strives for perfection and relishes the opportunity to pass on his knowledge and passion to the next generation.
When the opportunity to join the Lee Stafford organization arose, Stacey didn't hesitate. This led to the founding of www.myhairdressers.com with Lee and Steve Turner. With the chance to teach to a global audience, both online and through international seminars, myhairdressers is allowing him to forge fresh paths in his own creativity while sharing his love of education.
Stacey presents the Pure Foundation series on myhairdressers, with a new cut every month focused on building solid technique that will last a lifetime.
