Melissa asks:
I have light brown hair with naturally blonde, reddish highlights to the middle of my back and I colored it dark brown and it turned out black. I used permanent and am just wondering how long it will take to fade/grow out, is there any products I can use to make it fade out faster?

Hi Melissa - Wash your hair with dishwashing liquid. This is an old hairdresserís secret. Dishwashing liquid has a lot of detergent in it and will help remove some of the color from your hair.

Tynisha asks:
I just got brown glued-in extensions and I wanted to go blonde again. Iím wondering if I could get it done, but not damage my hair and I was thinking if they just didnít dye the glued parts wouldnít you be able to see the brown in my hair?

Hi Tynisha - I would not recommend lightening your hair. It would be impossible to separate your hair from the extensions. If you want to lighten the extensions, you will ruin them. Extensions can be colored, but only to deposit color such as a darker color or the same color. Very light peroxide is used to deposit color. If you want to lift color especially going from brown to blonde, a very high peroxide would have to be used and the extensions will be overprocessed. Good Luck,

Kiya asks:
I dye my hair quite often....My hair is quite frizzy and naturally wavy. I also have a hypothyroid problem which causes my hair to be dry. I recently had my hair colored very dark brown/black, but Iím ready to just go back to a natural color and kick the coloring frenzy! What is your suggestion in doing this? My stylist says my hair is strong but I do not want my hair to fall out? Also I have a hard time growing my hair it takes forever any suggestions for getting long beautiful hair?

Hi Kiya - Try a series of hair treatments. A good reconstructor and hydrator would be the best choice. The treatments will make your hair healthier and stronger for the color service. You may want to try Balancing Shampoo, Rich Conditioner and Hair Mask, by NuSkin. Good Luck,
