Johnny Clifford asks:
Rain seems to make my hair look great. I have fine hair the rain gives it body. Why?

Your not the first person to ask me this question. I believe its the fact that rain water is gentle, it is completely different to the water you use to wash your own hair with, which has chlorine in it that can dry out your own hair, especially if your hair is already quite fine. The cool breeze that usually accompanies the rain then it dry with a natural kink that if you are after volume looks great. My own hair always seems to go quite curly at the ends if I have been out in the rain and I love it.

Nicola asks:
I had hair extensions put in two weeks ago and they keep sliding out. They are microbeading hair extensions. She has tightened them three times and put the ones that have completely fallen out back in. More have fallen out and some have come out yet again. I paid £200. She wants to tighten them up again and put the ones that have fallen out back in. I donít want this as I think they will slide and fall out again. Am I entitled to a refund? Thank you.

That is so disappointing, and should not be happening at all micro ring extensions should stay in for at least 6-8 weeks before you need to replace the micro ring with a new one. I could not confirm if you are entitled to a refund without knowing the full situation. However generally speaking hair extensions are a non refundable service. They categorically should not be slipping out in the way that they are. She should absolutely come back and reapply them using new micro rings. You must ensure that you are not getting any form of conditioner or product on your bonds, and you must use a good hair extension shampoo. That will be gentle on your bonds to ensure that they do not soften and weaken. If they do then they can slip out of the ring itself.

Chloe asks:
My hair is very thin (itís like baby hair) I have been trying to grow and thicken my hair for ages and it has not worked. I use very little heat on my hair and when I do I use heat protector. I want to get hair extensions and I was just wondering which are the best to get: micro-beads or clip-in? Or do you know of any technique in which I can get my hair thick or/and longer? (I would love to have hair like Selena Gomezís).

Selena Gomez has very beautiful hair I think I agree with you there, it would be lovely to have hair like hers. Is there any medical reason why your hair is very fine? I would suggest before you have extensions you see your GP to check that you are not on any medication that is affecting the growth and strength of your own hair. The best method for your own hair would be the Micro ring method. It is an adhesive and chemical free method that does not use heat to apply nor chemicals to remove. It is a tiny nickel ring that is looped onto your own hair and the hair extension bond is slipped threw the loop this is clamped shut and trimmed down. You must ensure that this is fitted by a qualified professional. As for the growth of your own hair I would recommend taking some vitamin B complex, drinking lots of water, eat well and try to stay away from the straighteners, curlers, and any harsh hair products such as colours, perms, and even harsh shampoos. This will all make a big difference. Hope this has helped!
