Thank you for your enquiry. We have worked with women who have experienced thinning hair on top. There are many ways in which this can be dealt with. We do not see this as hair extensions but rather as a hair enhancement solution. ...More >

We have two techniques that might be suitable:

a) Integrated wig tracing technique. This is when a hair piece is interwoven around your hair line and can be worn permanently for up to 10 weeks at a time. It is removed, cleaned and replaced.

b) Non Surgical hair enhancement technique. This is when a specially prepared hair piece is designed for a specific section of your head. It is attached using the most up to date bonding system. It is not detectable and can be worn for up to 16 weeks at a time before it is removed, cleaned and replaced.

Both of these techniques require an initial investment of over 1, 000, but once the system is designed and put in place the up keep and maintenance is much more realistic

Jewel asks:
I am a freelance hairdresser and have been for 14 years but still struggle on colouring I did a couple of courses last year. I have a client that has had her hair done by a previous hairdresser she had a base shade of a 6 dark blonde and she had bleached blonde slices she asked me if I could get rid of the slices and just do an all over colour.first. I did some conditioning treatments to get the condition of the hair ready for colouring, then she choose a colour which was an 8 medium blonde. So I decided to lift up the dark blonde 6 slices to a yellow stage then I applied the colour mixed in a 1-2 MIX WITH PASTEL I used the 8.3 and 9 percent to lift the roots. end result was ok but she said a little too light. She has now changed her mind, she then asked me if I could just add some darker slices of a dark blonde to break up the colour which I did using 6/1 and 20 volume the end result is ok but although the client is happy and that is the main thing I am wondering if I did the colouring ok, Could you advise how you would have gone about it

The colour proces was good however you could have used 8.0 as you already had a yellow base and 20 volumes, as 20 would still be ok from a base of 6. To my knowledge you have put to much gold, golden tones would give you the effect of 1/2 to a tone lighter

Heidi asks:
I have mid-long length hair which is straight but has a kink in it. First of all is there a way without straightening to get rid of the kink, secondly if I blow dry my hair even if I do it rough or neat it becomes extremely static and flyaway I use shampoo, conditioner, mousse and serum but still get them, my hair is quite thick too! How I can achieve loose curls because I have tried many tongs and heated rollers and the curls only last for about 1 hour as my hair is thick!

For your products replace the mousse with a non-chemical relaxer if you want straight hair try Razzamatazz STRAIT TIME. If you want loose curls, use a light styling product or nothing at all and just use a light hairspray before you curl the hair with the tongs and again afterwards, such as Razzamatazz Design Spray.
