Alexandra asks:
My natural hair colour is a medium brown but I have dyed it what was labeled ’ chocolate brown’ but it has turned out looking very black. I would like to go back to being a light brown/blonde colour. I wouldn’t mind being light brown with some blonde highlights. Is there a way that I can get my hair to being light again as it is so dark now. I have been told by my hairdressers that they won’t do anything as it will turn orange. If the hairdressers can’t do this then I’m stuck with black hair and don’t want it so dark anymore! I know celebrities can go from dark brown to blonde so please could you help me to as well?

You should find once it has been washed a few times this will fade so be patient!

John asks:
I have really thick hair it annoys me so much every time I go to get my hair cut I get it thinned out but then within 4-5 days it is back to how it was what could I do to help prevent this?

The WORST thing you could have done is your hair thinned especially if this is done with thinning scissors.

I would recommend having your hair skimmed with a razor, this way your hair will become easier to manage and you will not be having difficulty 4-5 days later.

Julia asks:
I am 22 and born with really thick black wavy hair. I permanently straightened my hair twice in 2 years now and now the hair has started to grow back as expected. I always had my hair tied in a pony tail all my life mainly because of the thickness and the puffy look. I am really looking for a change of style something to break the pony style and preferably one I could leave my hair open. Could you please suggest a good cut that could thin the hair at the crown of the head but at the same time, a thinning that would; not look like a "rats tail"!

Your hair sounds gorgeous.

I would recommend a razor cut called internal diffusion. This technique put internal layers inside your hair cut. Not only will this remove some of your bulk making it easier to dry but it would also make your hair much more manageable and not like "rats tails". Ensure you go to an experienced stylist that is adapt at razoring techniques.
