Madlin asks:
Hi there - I have hair just below chin length cut into a bob with long layers. My hair is naturally fluffy waves (not defined curls) soft and fine hair but a lot of it. My blow dry never holds for more than an hour after leaving the house - I use good products, let the layers cool, use a good brush and dryer but after exposure to cool morning air and steamy train ride my hair has completed fluffed up, not frizz but thick full waves. What would you recommend to combat this? Thank you in advance! Madlin

Hi Madlin, Sounds like you are doing everything right, all I can suggest is a humidity spray this should prevent the fluff and fly-aways and help the blow dry last.

Kate asks:
My hair is naturally a mousey brown colour. Over the past years I have had it blonde though. The last couple of times I have visited my stylist I have asked for her to try and move my hair towards a caramel brown colour, with a few highlights, like Jennifer Aniston’s. What I have instead is a gold colour which looks like a brassy blonde (that I really hate). At the moment, my stylist puts in a brown dye, and adds in some highlights. At the end, she soaks it with (I think) a gold toner. What should I be asking for to get the colour I want? Thanks for your help

Hi Kate, This is quite a common problem when you don’t have lots of grey hair as your hair contains lots of natural warmth. I suggest you ask her to use cool tones that way you will get the depth of colour you want without the gold tones. Ask for a cool toner that way the whole hair colour will tone and blend far better. Hope this helps

Anika asks:
My hair is kinda messed up ombre gone wrong, with red, and yellow...And that’s something that I hate the most! Now I’m thinking how to fix it, I want to get something between cold ash brown and hair from Ariana Grande’s video ’Dangerous Woman’. How to get colour like that, but make it lasting, I just want to leave my hair alone from dyeing! I was thinking about FLAMBOYAGE, but is that really going to make my hair cold coloured and do it for good? HELP!

Hi Anika

I think you should see a stylist for this if you want it to be correct and last. Arianna’s hair is a warm brown with beige blonde ends and looks ombre ish to me. So I think that a cool brown could be applied to your roots, mid lengths and ends and the red you currently have will warm it up, then a blend technique using protein conditioner with an ash blonde on the ends should do it. Maintain yourself with colour save shampoo and conditioner and you should love it. ...More >

Good luck
