I dyed my hair dark brown few months ago and been wearing extensions, but the dark dye hasnít came out at the back but is fading at top, when I take extensions out, my real hair just looks terrible, one long thin bit at one side and other is short, also Iíve been wearing a clip fringe to cover it, I just wondered if anyone would be able to fix it as Iím really insecure and paranoid about my hair and Iíd feel uncomfortable going into a salon. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

It really would be best to pluck up the courage to go and have a face to face consultation at a salon, that way they can truly advise you and help rebuild your confidence and get your hair to a style and colour with or without extensions that you will really love.
Just remember we are trained to make you feel good about yourself and make your hair look great and you will have a good experience and build a lasting relationship with your hairdresser, have confindence.

My natural hair colour is a dark ash blonde. After bleaching my hair and toning it for years to look like light ash blonde, I decided to spice things up and dye my hair professionally to a light auburn red. So, for 4 months, I would dye my hair anywhere from a light auburn red to a dark auburn red. Well, after damaging my hair for 4 months, I decided to stop dying my hair. Red hair colour is too much of a hassle to upkeep. The issue now is that I am unable to get rid of the red hair. I went to a hair salon and I was there for 4 hours. They stripped and toned my hair, but the red would not come out. Finally, they just dyed my hair a very dark ash brown, almost black. Well, I figured after washing my hair several times, the colour would lighten to a natural brown. NOPE! All that has happened so far is that the brown hair colour is slowly washing away, and the red is starting to come though again. Now, my hair is this awful copper, red, and dark brown. My roots are blonde, the middle of my hair is blonde, and the bottom is dark brown. How can I get rid of the red hair?

If I had a penny for everytime this was asked I would be rich! Red is as difficult to keep as it is to lose, the secret is to choose 3 colour stage goals and have as big a haircut as your brave enough to have! I find highlights best then manage the tone with colour shampoo and conditioners. ...More >

I have a receding hairline and even dandruff problem too. Is using onion juice a good solution for both my issues?
|Answered By: |
Iím afraid I donít think onion juice would help you, but maybe taking some supplements would help, certainly for the dandruff. Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly after shampooing, and for your hairline supplement really can help, keep sugar in your diet to a minimum and massage the areas you are concerned, to try and improve the blood supply. ...More >
