Laura asks:
Hi, Iíve been a hairdresser for 34 years and have never had anyone react to bleach before until now. My a client whose hair I have done for 15 years and used bleach on her scalp for the last 2 years has had a big reaction. Started after 25 minutes. Red itchy hands, blotchy red skin on face, neck and torso, nothing on her legs. I only use 6% peroxide with colorphlex in to protect hair I washed the bleach off immediately and gave her portion and with in 45 mins it was like it never happened. Have you any idea why this has happened and is there any other bleach I could use as she has a grey toner on after and doesnít really want to give it up. I use indola bleach 6% peroxide and 10/11 NXT colour. I did do a colour patch test for toner but not bleach. Many thanks Laura

Hi Laura
Itís so upsetting and baffling why something like this happens and potentially no real explanation! Have you added Colourplex before? As there is a possibility your client has had a reaction to that, it can also be down to medication, or a slight ingredient change in the bleach. I do hope the client is okay and perhaps do a skin test with bleach with and without Colourplex next time on separate days of course. Good luck

Heather asks:
I have Brunette hair and rather dark, almost black eyebrows. Iíve always wanted to dye my hair ginger, more orange red then red red, but Iím afraid that it will look odd with such dark and thick eyebrows. I know that blonde hair and dark eyebrows go, but does ginger with dark eyebrows look okay or is it something to stay away from?

Hi Heather
I really donít think it matters about how dark your brows are, perhaps have them really shaped so they are an even more fabulous feature to compliment your new ginger/ orange / titian hair! Go for it

Kristen asks:
I have very thick wavy/curly hair. It is often very frizzy at times too. I have really been wanting front bangs but everyone says I canít get them because of my hair type. I really want to try it but I am really nervous it will look horrible and I will be stuck with it until it grow out. I need help!!! Thank you!

I have similar hair to you and was hesitant for the same reasons, but I love it. It does take work but I think its worth it, just make sure the fringe is cut a couple of inches longer than your eyebrows first then you have time to get used to it or if you hate it, very soon it can be tucked behind your ear. Go for it.
