Kath asks:
I have always dyed my short hair with Schwarzkopf live reds/purples. I tried a different brand, deep amethyst and itís black. I hate it! Which is the best option, should I use the new colourless hair colour remover max effect for black (never used before) and then re dye or use schwarzkopf live ultra violet colour and lift? Thank you

Hi Kath, If you remove the colour make sure you use something at least 3 shades lighter than your desired result to prevent it going to dark.
Tint wonít lift tint so Iím not sure you will achieve the result you are after.
Have you tried using a clarifying shampoo as this will really help remove the colour at least a shade or sometimes two. Make sure you leave the shampoo on for 15 minutes rinse and repeat a few times. Good luck

Ryan asks:
My hair is very very straight. I can barely do anything to give it texture, volume, or body. What can I do to make these things happen, preferably something that works relatively soon, since school is getting ready to start. Thanks!

Hi Ryan, Firstly make sure you are using a volumising shampoo that is clear, that way you will add body right from the start. Only use a leave in conditioner and maybe good old fashioned volumising mousse. Its light foam formula left in the hair or blow dried in will really help you have body. Make sure you only apply a golf ball size amount and comb it through before leaving to dry or blow drying to make sure its evenly distributed. I really hope this helps.

Zerina asks:
Hi, Iím 16 and I want to get a new haircut. My hair is very thick. Iím a brunette. I have something between round and oval face; more round... I want to cut my hair in jaw length - a little bit longer; in layers. I hope you understand. Would this hairstyle be good on me or should I not do it?

Hi Zerina, I think it will suit you, but keep the layers long around your face; if the layers are too short on your thick hair it will be harder to manage to get smooth. Good luck and go for it!
