Fox asks:
My hair was always straight but now my forehead hair is somewhat curly and has curves also the upper and back hair is not that straight what should I do or what should I use? I am a 21 yrs old man with medium length hair, I want something that will make my hair straight forever.

You need to have a chemical straightening process. It is absolutely brilliant on mens hair as it lasts for up to 6 - 8 weeks and straightens hair permanently without damaging it. We love LOreals X-Tenso. It leaves hair feeling beautifully conditioned and straightens out any kinks. Choose a reputable salon and try it for yourself!

Jackie asks:
I want to do a home perm but cannot find any perming curlers anywhere. I have shoulder length hair. Would it be ok to use foam covered rollers. I only want the hair to be wavy.

I really do not recommend home perms, but you could wind a perm on large plastic setting rollers, they would need to be smooth and you would need to use all plastic pins to keep the rollers in place. Do not use anything metal as this would oxidize with the lotion and cause your hair to turn purple.

Mary Baker asks:
I have a new permanent. My hair smells like dirty feet. I have rinsed with vinegar, tomato sauce, and have even used odour ban. Nothing has worked so far. Can you help?

The acids that you have tried will masque the smell, but not neutralise it. Next time you shampoo, add a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda to your final rinse, this should neutralise the smell completely.
