Anna asks:
I have quite a small round face, a fringe and short thick hair. I want to have a change and grow it long, but the problem is that when I grow my hair longer it drowns out my face. What can I do to prevent this?

The first thing to bear in mind is that keeping a fringe will help to stop you feeling drowned by your hair. As you grow your hair I would suggest that you have layers cut into your hair to reduce the thickness and at the same time give your hair more style and shape.

This will also help stop you being taken over by your hair.

Mariah Carey asks:
I need to wear a fringe as I have short hair and it does not suit me without or a short fringe. I keep it straight to below the eyebrows. Lately it keeps turning out and will not stay straight. Can you please recommend something? How do you keep your fringe straight, its lovely. Thanks a million in advance.

My own fringe certainly does not look perfect in the mornings! But I do blow dry it each morning quickly to get it looking good for the day. You may need to change your brush that you blow dry your hair with. Try the large round metal Denman its great. Also you could use a Babyliss Pro 230 straightening iron - it has several heat settings as you do not need it on a high setting to achieve the perfect fringe.

Good luck

Maria asks:
I have silky, thin hair, it fell out when I had a dry scalp. It is reappearing because I used vichy ampule, now my question is that I want a spiral/curly like look on lower length on my hair, I donít want to perm whole head. Can I make pony, put the bigger curling rods and perm them in the tail of the pigtail only?

I hope youíre not going to try this at home and no, you should not do it while your hair is in a pony .Go in and just get your hairdresser to look at your Hair and Scalp to make sure it can take chemicals on it.
