Rebecca asks:
I have a customer with black hair wanting to go grey; I did a bleach wash before hand as recommended by another hairdresser. My customer hair is thick and hard to take colour. Iíve have put two greys on her hair and still hasnít taken. Any advice please

Hi Rebecca, This is a really tough one as getting a grey colour over bleach on resistant hair can be a challenge. I suggest you mix the colour with half the amount of the recommended developer, apply the colour to clean dry hair and process for 10 minutes longer than requested.
I will keep my fingers crossed, but this should work.

Zerina asks:
Hi, Iím 16 and I want to get a new haircut. My hair is very thick. Iím a brunette. I have something between round and oval face; more round... I want to cut my hair in jaw length - a little bit longer; in layers. I hope you understand. Would this hairstyle be good on me or should I not do it?

Hi Zerina, I think it will suit you, but keep the layers long around your face; if the layers are too short on your thick hair it will be harder to manage to get smooth. Good luck and go for it!

malak asks:
Hello, i am a 15 year old girl and i want to talk about the thickness of my hair. All my life my hair has been extremely thick and beautiful and I made the stupid mistake of bleaching then dying (which turned my hair into an unwanted colour); then finally putting henna on it which fixed the colour. However, after this process my hair is completely damaged and almost half of how my hair was before. My question is when my hair starts to grow again will it have the same thickness as I always had all my life or will my hair continue to be thin? Thank you

Malak, Please try not to worry, your hair will recover. I suggest you get a haircut sooner rather than later rather than possibly allowing the damage to continue. Try your best to get into a great hair care regime of using professional shampoo and conditioner which you must comb through before rinsing and a treatment mask weekly for around 20 minutes. This way as your hair grows and thickens up it will be in amazing condition. Good luck
