Long layers work well - too short and youíll just make your hair wider! Also, if itís prone to frizz or curl donít have too much razoring - you need bulk to keep hair smooth. Tame with the Kerastase Oleo Relax range. The trick with a round face is to find a style that elongates and doesnít accentuate the roundness - so avoid anything with a fringe or anything jaw length as these styles will just add width. If you have a round face, you should try a Jennifer Anniston long look as this draws the face length wards and detracts from the widest part of the face by leaving the heavy bulk around the ends.

I am 20, and for the past year and a half I have had long extensions, there have been times when I have gone a few months without wearing them, but I am very addicted to them, I love going out with my long blonde hair, I feel great, and if there not in, I will not go out. I have had my extensions out for about a month now. My hair was not in the best condition to start with, very fine and quite split, but now after the abuse I have caused my head, ... I am not going bald!, but I can certainly tell that I have a little less hair than I used to, because of the constant pulling and glue application! I know I need to keep them out, but I do not feel short hair suits me, is there anything you can recommend to help strengthen my hair ?

What a shame that you feel that hair extensions have caused damage to your hair. Extensions are usually very safe and if applied correctly with the correct bonding there really should be no effect on your natural hair. I have been wearing extensions for almost 10 years because my hair is very, very fine and have never found that my hair is thinner. Sometimes you get the feeling that your hair is finer because you easily become used to the extra thickness. Take a look at the HairMax Laser Comb. If you do want to give your hair a rest, then I would suggest you start to use a hair thickening/loss professional product called Nioxin. It is an amazing product that actually helps hair to grow to its maxim strength. It is only available in professional salons.

I am 15 and I have, I guess what you would say maybe a punky style. I Just recently got my hair cut short. Maybe a little shorter than shoulder length, with layers, the style I am trying to achieve is, maybe kind-of 80s. I want it to be BIG. I have tried different hairsprays and hair waxes. I have thick and heavy hair and I think a lot of products make my hair even heavier. So if you have any suggestions to what I can to do achieve the style I want it would greatly appreciated.

The trick is not to overload your hair with products, so it is one product to cleanse, one to condition, one to style plus a spray to finish. Another tip is to tip your hair upside down and par-dry, then, using a large barreled bristle brush and a professional hairdryer (always use a professional hairdryer as this gives much more styling hold), dry hair in 2.5 inch sections teasing hair upwards from root to encourage volume. Its probably best to try and grow your layers down some more so that you can get some root lift too.
