Ceri asks:
I have really thick hair, which is wavy and reaches my lower back and I just don't know what to do about it! I can't wear it down because it just looks ridiculously bushy and triangular but I can't wear it up because it's just so frizzy! Straightening it takes hours so isn't really an option. I'm really fed up with it because it's just so unmanageable! I'd like to get it cut so that I don't constantly have to work so hard with it, so I can just leave it down. But I have a very chubby face and am concerned that cutting it would just make my face look bigger! Please help!

Georgia asks:
I'm 14 and have really long, thick and extremely curly hair. I know I'll never be able to have short hair because it'll go too puffy but I get so bored of my style and don't know how to handle it! At the moment I have a fringe cut into it but I'm so bored!

There are many styling options for you. There are various curling irons that will soften out your curl, or you could use flat irons to create large bouncy curls or waves, check out the Style Gallery to give you some ideas

Tanith asks:
I am 27 and I have long thick brown hair, it has sections that are a bit naturally wavy but there are some bushy bits, it's due another trim. I try to put waves and curls in it, using mousse heat and curl protection spray. When I go to a salon they just drop out in an hour, I don't want to have layers into my hair as I love it long. Is there anything else I can try other than putting it in twists/pleats the night before damp, using these products? I rarely use heat or products but I spend the money on good shampoos and conditioners to keep my hair shiny and healthy but am desperate for styles that will stay!

The only thing you could have to encourage any curls to stay longer is to have a soft perm but even then, if your hair is thick and with no layers, even that will struggle to keep in.

What you need to think about is whether you would have some layers through your hair to give you what you desire because without having layers there is limited possibilities!
