Katherine asks:
Iím growing my hair from really short and Iím finding it hard to style. It is really thick and heavy and doesnít hold its style for long without me adding loads of products. Would you recommend I get it trimmed or shall I leave it to grow?

Ask your stylists if the use blades or razors. If they do then ask for it SOFTLY skimmed. This will reduce the bulk and allow you to style and grow your hair much easier

Jeff asks:
I have dense hair with very thick grain. As a result my hair is always straight and when I try to comb it, it becomes straight again within minutes. So I really have no hairstyle at all except for army style very short hair.

Add texture to the hair by cutting into the hair, this will improve the look of your hair texture and stop if looking so straight. This type of cut will give appearance of different lengths, even on short hair. I would suggest that a choppy hair cut might be better regardless of your length. Then when styling, use your hands as a styling tool rather than a comb. You could also always add a splash of colour to break up the density of the hair.

Kim asks:
I have thick hair it was cut into a razored layered bob and on one side into a vertical look its chin length on the sides and the other side is a little vertical but like the other side. As it grows it looks bad and every time I get it trimmed they make the problem worse. What can I do to help it, it looks uneven, one side looks longer and one side looks shorter thanks

First thing! Look for another hairdresser or some one who knows what they are actually doing. It is not the tools it is the person carrying out the work causing the problem.

Find a new stylist and get it sorted.
