Emma asks:
I had highlights in my hair the first time a month ago I went to have them again to cover the roots and I still have a black mark where the new hair is growing, how can I cover this up. Do I need thicker highlights or would foils be best.

It sounds like you previously had highlights through a cap? Foil highlights will get closer to the root and are more controllable. You can work the highlights slightly more concentrated on the parting or other areas where the regrowth is more noticeable.

Yasmin asks:
I have really thick flyaway hair. It never stays in a style and I want it short. What is the best type of style for my hair?

Go for a precision haircut with texture. What we call gamine. Think Kate Moss (short cut) and Wyona Ryder.

Kath asks:
After having my hair cut short a few years ago, it seemed to grow back thicker. My question is what would be the most beneficial way of thinning my hair? Cheers!

The best thing for you to do is to make an appointment with your stylist and ask for your hair to texturised, not using thinning scissors.
