Katie asks:
My hair is shoulder length with a fringe, short layers and a double crown. I want to grow my hair longer but I donít know if it would suit my oval face and whether my hair would look too flat- as I have very fine straight hair. Do you have any suggestions for styles that may suit me, and whether I could wear my hair long?

In theory as the ideal face shape is oval, most styles will suit. Because your hair is fine you might want to keep some layers, as one length hair inevitably makes the style look flatter. An excellent product to use would be Sebastianís Thickefy foam.

Lisa asks:
Iím 17 and I hate my hair. When I was 8 I had a pixie hair style where I had loads of layers, a massive scruffy fringe and lots of highlights. Ever since then my hair has NOT grown. I now have a bob which I am trying so hard to grow back because itís a nightmare to control, but it wonít grow! The back seems to be longer than the front! Any tips on how to make your hair grow?! Also my hair is medium thick, and I have to wash it every day because it gets so soft from air it then turns greasy. Why is this?

Hair grows differently depending on the person, but the average is at a rate of about quarter of an inch to half an inch each month. However this is dependent on your diet and lifestyle if you give your hair a little needed TLC it will be growing in no time. ...More >

If you are trying to get your hair into the best condition possible so it will grow, it is imperative that you use treatments on your hair to improve elasticity, shine and health. For great results and to stop the hair becoming damaged and breaking try my new hair growth treatment which will help sooth and moisturise the scalp to aid hair growth. Use the equivalent of an egg size amount after shampooing and massage from root to tip.

Another great treatment which can be used weekly is my hot shots 2 minute miracle. Again use this after shampooing, massage into your hair and leave until you feel warmth then rinse it off. This is great for replenishing your hair and improving growth rate.

Although you want your hair to grow quickly, I would still recommend getting your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks to get rid of any split ends! With regards to your hair becoming greasy by washing it everyday you are stripping it of natural essential oils so I would recommend trying to wash it once every 2-3 days.

Marianna asks:
I have very thick, greying hair that Iíve worn in a short, funky (dyed) style for several years. I want to try a longer, (shoulder length) more sophisticated look but Iíve no idea how to manage my hair during the íin-between, big hairí stage.

Any tips?

It is difficult when you are growing a short hairstyle out. Given that your hair is coloured and you are going through "the big hair" stage I would invest in some professional platform straighteners. These irons are the best I have ever used and they will look after your colour and make your styling options much easier to control the "big hair". ...More >

When using these irons always use "one Pass" that is to take each section and slowly glide the iron down it. This allows the Nano Fuzion technology in the product to work. Making your hair healthy shiney and smooth.

This will definitely help you while growing your hair into a longer look.
