My hair is natural curly, with volume (really a lot of hair), frizzy, is thick and get dehydrates easily, is not so long just medium. My face is oval, I am short and skinny. What hair style should I get? What products are good for my type of hair? I usually use Potion 9-Sebastian. Thanks very much, I really need help!

Potion 9 from Sebastian is a great product, but I need to understand what style you are after.
If your hair is curly and you like to wear it this way then potion 9 on its own will not create what you are after. ...More >
Given that your hair is naturally curly I would have a weave cut throughout your head to allow the natural movement to cascade more freely which will help stop the "Big Hair" situation that happens as this opens spaces within your hair to allow more control. I would recommend L`Oreal Professional Tech-ni art cream curl products to help tame and control your hair.
Apply this with your fingers and comb through when wet, then allow to dry naturally keeping your curl in control, this will allow you to play with the style when dry without making it frizzy.

I have permed and heat damaged hair. I was born with black, curly, wavy, long, shiny beautiful hair. But I got ringworms and I had sulfur 8 and tons of perms. Now my hair is dull, not growing, short, tangled, hard and thick! My question is, how can I repair or treat my damaged hair (and Iím mixed with black, white, indian, irish, chinese).

Hi Britney - Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. You cannot grow beautiful flowers if the soil is bad. NIOXIN has an in-salon scalp treatment called Scalp Remedy. It removes dead scalp cell build-up, hair product build-up from the scalp. It also removes follicle build-up from the hair follicles so that they can breath. Just like anything that lives, if it cannot breath it dies. When a follicle dies, it is dead forever.Next, I recommend Joicoís K-Pak Shampoo, Conditioner and Reconstructor. There is also a great breakage treatment by, Aporgee. It is very popular with black clients with breakage. Do not add any stress to your hair such as rubber bands, pony tails, etc. Let your hair rest. Good Luck.

I have long thick straight hair. No matter how hard I try, I canít get my hair to stay curly when I use a curing iron without using a gallon of hairspray that makes my hair hard and sticky and unnatural looking. Also, I have so much hair, it takes an eternity to curl my hair with a curling iron. By the time Iím done, all my curl has fallen out. Is there any way I can curl my hair quicker and get it to stay looking natural and soft without using hairspray? Is there a specific product that you would recommend? Also, would hair rollers work better than a curling iron?

Your hair may be becoming too thick and too long for a curl to stay in, try having a haircut that may need layers or weight taking out to help sustain the curls in your hair, then products for curl boosting, rollers or tongs may help with creating the right curl for you.
