Megan asks:
I have average curly hair but it is straight at the roots and gets curlier gradually. I had layers but they are growing out now and my hair is pretty thick. I was thinking of getting it relayered and maybe getting straight bangs but am anxious about the outcome. My hair is also pretty frizzy unless I use some sort of defrizzer.

Not sure what to do!

You should definitely have layers put back in as this will help reduce the thickness of your hair, and I would also invest in some high quality leave in conditioner to help with the frizziness.

As far as having a bang/fringe cut in, be aware that this could make your hair even more curly and difficult to straighten.

Tatiana asks:
I have very thick naturally wavy hair. Its currently shoulder length but I want to go shorter. Iím worried itíll puff out or get really curly. Can you suggest any ideas?

Your hair sounds gorgeous (I am jealous all ready). If you are going shorter it should not be a problem providing you have your layers introduced as a weave cut. This makes your internal layers many different lengths and opens up spaces (internally) in side your internal cut. This allows your wavy hair to fall into the pre cut spaces and stops your hair from ípuffing outí. Ensure you have a consultation and that your stylist knows how to achieve this otherwise you will have a 80s hairstyle with volume.

Christina asks:
I have very thick hair, with long layer cut in the back, layered to my face in the front with side bangs, I am naturally a brunette and want to dye it brown with burgundy low lights and dark blonde highlights what do you think? My eyes are blue and skin is olive.

I think a deep chestnut brown with deep and fine amber highlights would be much better, forget the blonde.
