Anita asks:
I am 48, and I had my hair chemically straightened two years ago, which has now damaged my hair. Please can you recommend some haircare products that will help the condition of my hair?

Hi Anita, we recommend that you make an appointment with a hair salon for the LíOrťal Smartbond treatment, which strengthens the keratin bonds within the hair. It gives super results and your stylist can give you a Smartbond conditioner to use at home.

Hi Holly

Sometimes we do such much to our hair that it does actually forget its natural look and the action you need to take is as follows - buy the best moisturising shampoo, moisturising conditioner, treatment masque, leave in conditioner and oil or serum you can afford, professional salon products are always better in my opinion as they contain a more concentrated amount of the ingredients needed. You must then have a trim at a salon and then 3 times per week shampoo, apply the treatment and cover with a plastic cap or bag and a warm towel if possible. Leave that on your hair for 20 mins., rinse and then apply conditioner, comb the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb before rinsing. Spray the leave in conditioner onto your hair and comb through again. 3 - 5 pumps of oil of serum also need to be applied and combed through. All the combing through is to evenly distribute the product so the affects of it are all over your hair. Leave your hair to dry naturally and try not to touch or brush it. Its very hard to be so strict with the regime at first but it will be worth it. After about 2/3 weeks your hair will start to recover its natural pattern of movement due to the fact its internal structure has received moisture and protein, then you can see how you feel about your natural hair and go from there. I always recommend you do a treatment weekly on your hair even when the condition is good. ...More >

Good luck and I am hopeful your hair comes back to life and you love it.

Robin asks:
I have mid-length brown hair and I love the way my hair looks when I get out of the shower. However, as soon as it dries it looks rubbish and has a mind of its own. Iíd really like to keep the wet look style throughout the day. Please can you advise what products I can use to achieve that?

Hi Robin, the slick, wet look hairstyle is universal and rapidly growing in popularity so I totally understand why you want to rock this look. It is quite easy to achieve at home if you follow these simple steps: ...More >

After showering, gently towel dry hair and then add a few drops of KMS California Tame Frizz Oil and blow-dry using a cool setting. This brilliant product will keep your hair frizz free for up to 3 days, and is instantly absorbed to give you brilliant shine without weighing your locks down.

Once your hair is dry, add KMS Hairplay Liquid Wax. This product holds like a gel and styles like a wax, providing you with flexible support with high shine. You will love the results.
