Abigail asks:
I have naturally thick curly hair with middle length. On my birthday Iíd love to go to a professional hairdresser and get it cut really short with possibly some thinning as I feel like it be less hair to deal with and I can finally pay more attention to taking care/ products that help maintain it.

And my aware it becomes curlier when shortened (I donít mind the look) but u wanted to know if thereís any way to either make it wavy/straight e.get relaxers and such or wavy/ straight naturally?

Hi Abigail

Have you considered an undercut rather than losing length and thinning, I strongly advise its really such a great option. It means the volume of hair is dramatically reduced and then with really rich moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and treatments alongside a strict hair care regime you take control of your hair whether straight or curly. ...More >

Laura asks:
I recently dyed my hair with bleach and colour and while I am not allergic to the products used it has left me with terrible dandruff and a very itchy scalp. I have used anti dandruff shampoo which not only stripped the hair colour but it burned me as my scalp is not sensitive and when using non sulphate colour shampoo it had no effect on the dandruff. I am out of ideas and just want to find a shampoo that can help with my dandruff issue while not destroying my colour, any help?

Hello Laura

May I suggest you use something like Almond oil, warmed whilst in the bottle. Massage it in to your scalp and leave overnight if possible, use an old pillowcase so as not to ruin it. This will re moisturize as well as hopefully soothe and calm the scalp. I donít think you have dandruff just a very dry flaky scalp most likely caused by the colours active ingredients and then the high PH of the dandruff shampoo. So try a shampoo for sensitive scalp and colour protectors there are lots to choose from in professional salons as well as on the high street. This will re balance the natural PH of your scalp and wonít strip the scalp or colour. ...More >
