Hayley asks:
My hair extensions have been done 3 times but the glue keeps going soft and hair falls out its costing me a fortune and I have sticky hair why does this keep happening.

What products are you using on the extensions? It sounds like the bonds are softening because of the incorrect aftercare. Extensions should only be cleansed and styled with specialist products your hairdresser can explain the best products. There are certain ingredients - mainly protein, that will break down the bonding and cause them to soften. Bonding should not leave your hair sticky either, I only recommend the Racoon system as their unique bonding material is easily removed without any trace of residue on the hair. You could maybe book an appointment with one their salons, call 01295 770999 for the nearest salon. Racoon-Xtend aftercare range is ideal on bonding hair, so try using this range and see what happens. I would also ask the salon who applied the extensions to send a sample of the fallen extension and bond to the manufacture so they analyse what may be happening.

Anna asks:
I straighten my hair very often. My natural hair is curly. Lately I have been having an itchy scalp and a lot of hair loss. I have never lost this much hair, ever! To tell you the truth I am a bit scared. I have stopped the straightening and all, but I need to know what else I can do! Or something easier to do that will not damage my hair so much, yet still keeping it under control (since my curls are hard to work with) Thanks!!

Hi Anna,
Straightening your hair will cause severe breakage if it has been done over a long period of time. So it is good that you have stopped doing so. The best thing now is to give your hair plenty of TLC: Use good moisturizing products and try to let your hair dry naturally with the use of a soft gel such as Razzamatazz Jellee
