I have naturally wavy/curly hair and use a flat iron to straighten it regularly I usually get highlights every 6-8 weeks. My stylist left town and I had to find someone else to start doing my hair regularly. She seems to be good but since I have been experiencing hair
problems. I have been using the Wen product for about 4 months now and I have noticed that my hair is not only thinning out but it is breaking everywhere. I have breakage even in the bang area and I do not know why. My hair has also not grown since I had a haircut back in October. I do not know what to do, I use to have a full head of beautiful hair and now it is thinning out and looks terrible and frizzy, dull and damaged. It is embarrassing. What should I do? I am desperate!

I think this sounds like a combination of things firstly I would stop using the Wen products as it would seem they do not suit your hair and perhaps try Wella System Professional Range. Also having your hair highlighted and using the flat irons regularly will obviously dry your hair out considerable so I would definitely recommend using a heat protection spray before using the irons and also investing in an intensive conditioning treatment to be used at home. Take a look at the Biolustre Treatment we sell on the site has fantastic reviews.

I had hair extensions put in two weeks ago and they keep sliding out. They are microbeading hair extensions. She has tightened them three times and put the ones that have completely fallen out back in. More have fallen out and some have come out yet again. I paid £200. She wants to tighten them up again and put the ones that have fallen out back in. I donít want this as I think they will slide and fall out again. Am I entitled to a refund? Thank you.

That is so disappointing, and should not be happening at all micro ring extensions should stay in for at least 6-8 weeks before you need to replace the micro ring with a new one. I could not confirm if you are entitled to a refund without knowing the full situation. However generally speaking hair extensions are a non refundable service. They categorically should not be slipping out in the way that they are. She should absolutely come back and reapply them using new micro rings. You must ensure that you are not getting any form of conditioner or product on your bonds, and you must use a good hair extension shampoo. That will be gentle on your bonds to ensure that they do not soften and weaken. If they do then they can slip out of the ring itself.

Getting a bit of Romantic Movement into your hair could be the way to go depending on your dress. A large tong or hot roller set will give you a great wavy result. Do have a practice with your stylist. There are some fabulous hair slides that can be used for some colour and sparkle and make sure your colour is fresh and brings out the best in your skin tone. Ensure the condition is tip top by having treatments and using the best products. Redken is a fantastic range and has products for all hair types. Good luck and enjoy!
