Krista asks:
I hair naturally mousey blond hair but have been dying it (mostly black) for a little over a year now. I have had it stripped out once for my senior prom last April and it turned a reddish brown tone which I was ok with but I heard that you could not strip it out again or I would ruin it to an even stronger degree. I have also been losing a lot of my hair in the shower recently and it is beginning to worry me. Should I just let it grow out or is there a way to not only stop the lose of hair but also to return it to a lighter color?

You could strip it out again, however it will damage your hair. May I suggest a good hair repair treatment kit such as Razzamatazz or Alkemi. Once your hairs condition has been restored it may be safe to do some hi lights and lighten your hair. The hair loss could be due to the time of year, so do not worry.

Tessa asks:
I was wondering if you could give me some advice on hair extensions. I would like to get glue real hair extensions but do not know where to go. Do you know of any salon that does good hair extensions in Worcestershire and Birmingham area.

There are over 28 hair extensions techniques of which I would say 12 are value for money and do not harm your hair if applied, maintained and looked after properly. There are many hair extensions technicians offering hair extensions but what I would advise you to look for is a technician that is trained in more than one technique. The reason for this is to ensure that they apply the technique that is complimentary to your hair type, life style and hair condition. A properly trained hair extensions technician would perform a consultation first of all and advise you about the various techniques and recommend and explain the technique they would apply. Some techniques can be quite aggressive on the hair especially on removal and could result in hair loss. Visit UK hairdressers directory there are a few hair extension technicians listed in there.

Does wigs damage hair by balding? what good does wig do for hair?

Michelle GriffinAnswered By:

Wigs wonít make you go bald. Theyíre a great option if you want to change your style without actually cutting or colouring your hair. Todayís wigs are so realistic and the texture of the hair is very natural that itís hard to tell youíre wearing one. Wigs are fun for people who donít necessarily need them and a relief for people who do need them due to hair loss. Go and experiment and donít worry about them damaging your hair!
