Rachel asks:
Iím in desperate need of a haircut every time I get it done I just say "cut that layers and the fringe a bit". So it looks lifeless really. I have mid brown hair - it comes to just above my bust and although the hair itself is quite fine, there is A LOT of it, therefore it frizzes badly. I straighten it every other day, or blow dry it straight. I am quite small, and have a long face with a high forehead and a long nose and chin. I really want more volume to my hair - can this be achieved with a lot of choppy layers?

If you have a long face then ensure that you have shorter layers at the front so it detracts from the length of your face. Keep your hair a little shorter so it doesnít drown your features and make sure that the layers around your face start from above your jaw line ...More >

Bobs and layered styles are perfect to give thin or fine hair more instant movement and volume, this means that the choppy layers and thick fringe of the style you liked from my gallery would suit you brilliantly

If you find it difficult to describe what kind of cut you want, always make sure you always take a picture with you to the salon

To fight the frizz you need to start taking some protection from all that straightening and blow drying. Use some of my Poker Straight Intensive Treatment with P2Fifty which will fight the damaging effects of your irons, whilst moisturising the hair shaft leaving it looking and feeling healthy

Itís so important to protect your hair, so before you straighten use my Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist on towel dried hair and then again, once youíve perfected your straightened look.

Another good way to avoid frizz is to use some climate control for your hair, as humidity can cause havoc! My Poker Straight Dehumidifier acts as an umbrella against moisture and stops frizz in its tracks, leaving your hair smooth, shining and manageable

Hi Maxine - The following information should help you 1. NIOXIN has a scalp treatment called Scalp Remedy. It removes any dead scalp cells, product build up. It removes any dead hair follicle build up. This service can only be done in the salon. 2. Use Dr. Muradís Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum. Good Luck. Rafael Rosas The King of Hair Extensions
