Laura asks:
I have naturally dark brown hair, but in the summer months the sun bleaches it and I get chestnut/light brown streaks through my hair. I really like how it looks but now want my hair a bit lighter for the summer. How difficult will it be to go from my colour now to a light brown/dark blondish colour?

This shouldn't be too much of a problem to be honest. Depending on what shade your natural colour is, I would suggest having some fine foil high lights.

You may need to have some form of bleach and then a toner applied to reach the desired colour you would like, but I would strongly suggest you book a consultation before having anything done.

Melissa asks:
The hair around my fringe area is forever getting finer and breaking almost like a baby and when I comb through, it feels very rough and tatty. What products can I use to condition it and will this area of hair grow back?

I canít tell you if it will grow back or not. Maybe you might want to get a different kind of fringe cut so that it can look thicker, as for product try Paul Mitchell's Intense moisture as a conditioner.

Jacquie asks:
I have straight, fine hair which is also quite thin so it breaks easily and I've got individual hairs sticking out all over the place, especially down my side parting, which is about 3" long. I don't blow dry it straight or use straightening irons.

What bugs me is that celebrities have drastic things done to their hair all the time but you don't see anyone with a fuzzy halo around their heads! I think Jennifer Anniston has fine hair (although she has more of it than I do) and her hair is so sleek. What can I use to smooth these hairs down, bearing in mind I have fine hair which can't be weighed down too much with product? I tried John Frieda Frizz Ease but I think I need a smoothing product which I can use after the hair has been dried.

I just want smooth roots, like yours in the picture on this site

Actually Jennifer Anniston has thick curly frizzy hair - and most celebrities look good as they have extensions and a hairdresser alongside them almost daily!!! These short hairs may be new hair growth due to the fact that your hair replaces itself regularly - it can be annoying. Your diet is vital to continued hair growth so you may need a supplement to extend the life-span of each individual hair. Try Nourkrin it really helps. Vegetarians often have this problem. To help - when you have styled your hair, spray your hands with a little water, rub your hands together, then run your hands over the short hairs that stick out - this will hold them down better than any product.
