Sheena asks:
My daughter is finally legal age to get her hair coloured professionally (sheís been waiting years). Does an all over colour take best on clean hair or should she wash her hair the night before?

Hi Sheena, clean dry hair is always best, I hope she loves the colour and the experience.

Samantha asks:
I recently got my hair coloured, I wanted a dark red black but itís very purple instead. If I were to colour it a brown over it will it give me the colour I want?

Hi Samantha, It seems to me that your hair wasnít lifted light enough to have a red black and so went purple; you need to lighten a little more before re-applying a red. Good luck

Stephanie asks:
I would like to use a home colour kit, however, I have had colour done at a salon and the remains are still in my hair. The top third of my hair is my natural colour, a mousy brown, then the second third is a tint that was supposed to be around my natural colour but it has a very red tinge to it and the last third has mostly bleach and tint. I just canít afford the up keep in the salon and I wondered if I could use a home colour kit to bring it all to one colour, maybe a medium brown?

Hi Stephanie, if you use a medium ash, browning the top and mid lengths, then apply a light natural brown to the blonde area to make sure it doesnít fade so quickly. After 30 minutes comb through the ash colour to the ends and process for a further 10 minutes. This should work and give you a more even and natural look. Thank you
