Emma asks:
I have naturally dark brown hair I have been having it coloured blonde for 8 years recently I have been having it bleached but I get ginger patches how can I keep my hair really blonde but get rid of the ginger please help

It sounds like either the bleach is not being left on long enough to lift the warm tones in your hair and possibly the correct choice of toner afterwards.

Lifting warmth out of hair is notoriously difficult so it is important that a suitable product is applied.

Dawn asks:
I had my hair coloured for years using Koleston Perfect 5/0 because now I am getting greyer, can I go quite a bit lighter? What is the best way to do it? The stylist says a tint wonít lift a tint!

Your hairdresser is correct to say that Tint doesn't lift Tint. However, there are only 2 products that you can use to lift the coloured hair a few shades WITHOUT bleaching. They are Goldwell System Colour Remover or Eraser by Affinage. Both these products lift out artificial colour gently without bleach. You can then go up at least 2 to 3 shades lighter. It is a professional product and must be used in Salon.

Rahel asks:
I have very black hair. A few months ago I had my hair coloured in streaks to a very light colour. This colouring made my hair very dry. It used to be very shiny before, but now it is very dry. Please help me as I hate the look of my hair.

I feel for you. Itís going to take time to get your hair back in shape, I would suggest taking your colour back to itís original and then lots of loving care by using treatments and conditioner
