Becca asks:
I have fine hair and a reasonably long face. I just wanted to know what sort of hairstyle would suit me and would make my hair appear thicker. It would also be helpful if you could recommend some products for volume enhancing.

I would recommend trying a structured style that compliments your oval face shape. The Pob has been a global hit and would be ideal for you. If you are a little fearful of having the chop, customise the cut to reflect your do if you dare level. This style is easy to maintain and gives you the opportunity to be creative. For work keep it simple and sophisticated but when you want your wild side to be seen, get your hands on to my super volumising Double Blow Mousse for body to die for– you will love the results!

Charlotte asks:
I really want longer hair and am considering having hair extensions. I wanted clip in ones as I thought that they would be the least likely to harm my natural hair. However I have been told by a hairdresser that they will fall out very easily and to have the ones which are glued to my head. I have heard many stories about them making peoples hair fall out and mine is naturally fine anyway. I love my hair and do not want it to get damaged but I cannot stand it being so short and want long hair again. I know hair can be woven in but that costs a lot and at 17 that is money I do not have?

The benefits of clip in hair extensions is that you can apply and remove them anytime you want. They are useful if you just want a new look when you are going out, or to add more body or colour to your hair. No hair extension technique is permanent, however the way in which they are applied will determine the gap period between them being removed and reapplied because of your own natural hair growth. I do not think that you will have many problems with your own hair growing at the age of 17, just keep it in good condition, do not use straighteners too much and eat healthy. You will find you will soon have nice long hair. My advice is just use the clip in as fun and do not get too stressed out about it.

Pennie asks:
HELP! 6 days ago I had my hair coloured at a salon, this is the third time it has been done in a few months, the same products were used as far as I know. Straight after it was done I had lowlights put in (a shade of red over the dark brown) and now my hair seems LIFELESS and DULL. It has lost its shine! I have not changed my shampoo or my hair products so I am at a loss as to what has happened and would love it if somebody could help me!!

Without seeing your hair I guess the red colour that you had put in was perhaps a bit stronger than what you are used to. Try to change your shampoo and conditioner to a perhaps a stronger richer nourishing products, try the J.F.Lazartigue Moisturizing range its great for restoring the shine in coloured hair
