Brittney asks:
I hate my hair. I have brown thick hair with some body. Its almost shoulder. It has some layers at the bottom. It was cut really short and was shaved in the back before but I let it grow out. It is now less thick than it used to be but I still hate it. I have an oval shape face and want a short hair cut. I do not want it shaved and do not like old or really curly styles.

Ask your stylist to add some texture to your hair by using a razor or some texturising scissors or thinning scissors. This will give your hair a trendy, funky style & take away some of the bulky, thickness. I think you will love it!

Hair colouring and styling are very personal to you. If there are no real side effects as a result of you colouring your hair (such as thinning or hair loss), then if you enjoy it and it makes you feel better, then my advice is to continue.

Your hair is a part of your beauty, enjoy every moment of it.

Sarah asks:
I have really thick and curly hair my hair is just below shoulder length. Do you think I should thin it out, or will this make my hair thicker or more curly?

In this instance I would recommend visiting a good hair dressing salon. There are many listed in the UK hairdressers directory, perhaps you could find one near you. Ask for an experienced or head stylist and let them recommend which is the best way to deal with your thick hair for both thinning, blending and styling.
