Marie asks:
I made a huge mistake using Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner. I had medium hair before, and after using Pantene my hair is so much thinner! I have lot a lot of hair. What can I do to fix it?

Donít worry, try using a shampoo and separate conditioner for fine or flyaway hair, also for thinning hair or a Volume Shampoo. And stay away from the bottle that causes your hair to go thin.

John asks:
I have baby fine thinning hair that I wear very short. My Stylist textures it with scissors when he cuts it. But I still need to put product on it so that it doesnít just lay flat. Everything I have tried gel, paste, in the tiniest bit ends up oozing down my scalp onto my forehead causing my forehead to breakout. Do you have any suggestions as to what I could use? Have you ever seen this before?

It does sound like youíre having a terrible time with your hair products! One of the things that you learn when youíre on a shoot is that less is more as far as products are concerned. When you have models under hot photographic lights you canít have product dripping down their faces! I would recommend using a tiny amount of something very powerful, such as Fudge Hair Shaper and working a tiny amount through your hair. If that does not work, then you could even try using a tiny amount of hairspray to keep you hair in place. Again remember less is more, and go for a non-shiny type so that it is not too obvious you have product in your hair!

Laura asks:
Iíve got dark blonde/light brown hair with natural highlights I like the colour but my hair is thick, under bust length with long layers that Iím trying to grow out as they just added more volume. (If I go too short I look like a triangle) I was hoping you could give me some advice on what style to get as my hair has just too much volume even after blow drying and straightening with good straighteners and this straightening gum I bought from Toni&Guy! Iíve also tried thinning but it didnít really make any difference. The texture of my hair is strange Iíve got two types of hair in one on top my hair tends to be smooth and fairly straight while underneath some of my hair it thicker and has zig-zaggy shafts and has got a natural wave but not nice enough to make good curls. I also bought that Boots home chemical straightening kit in shear desperation as I really need a change! But it wouldnít straighten the test strand even after the max time so I didnít use it! Is my hair just destined to by a huge wave mess or is there something that I could do without spending hours every day.

It sounds like youíve tried almost everything!

The one thing that might work is to have your hair razor thinned. This sounds drastic, but is basically a technique to help reduce the thickness in your hair. ...More >

Obviously you will still need to spend time on your hair but hopefully it will be easier for you.
