We
all want to look younger for longer, so we took some tips from a
book by anti-ageing guru Hazel Courteney ‘Ways to stayer Younger
Longer’ - the ultimate alternative A-Z guide to anti-ageing.
Sugar
is the most ageing food you can eat. It triggers an inflammatory
response in the body, lowers immune function and ages the
skin faster than smoking or sunbathing.
Sleeping
in a totally dark room helps you to stay younger for longer.
Water
re-alkalises your system. The ideal amount is six to eight
glasses a day. If you eat four pieces of fruit and four servings
of veg every day, this in itself will provide almost a litre
of water. |
Essential
fats (found in oily fish, seeds and nuts) keep your brain
sharper, aid weight loss, reduce water retention and keep
skin looking more hydrated.
To fade
age spots on your hands, dab them with whitening toothpaste
- it’s a cheap alternative to expensive beauty products and
it really works!
Boost
your brain power with a refreshing cup of peppermint tea -
Japanese studies have shown that it stimulates the mind and
improves mental performance. |
