  BRIDAL HAIR

IVY
This beautiful traditional hairstyle would compliment a modern wedding dress to help it retain a traditional feel. This is a sophisticated style that can be dressed with flowers of the season, something small and pretty would compliment.

Step 1.
From a side parting, section off front of hair. Divide back hair into two ponytails as shown.

Step 2.
Working on one section at a time, smooth front hair and drape up to top ponytail, taking ends round base of ponytail. Temporarily clip in place.

Step 3.
Backcomb end of lower ponytail, and smooth using a bristle brush.

Step 4.
Form hair into a roll and tuck in ends using a tail comb to smooth.

Step 5.
Take top ponytail and lightly backcomb. Divide into two sections curving one each side of head.

Step 6.

Lightly twist ends of one of these sections round fingers, using a tail comb to tuck in ends, then secure with grips.

Step 7.
Repeat for the other side, first curving the section of hair…

Step 8.

…then coiling, tucking ends in and pinning into place.

Step 9.

Shows completed back view.

Step 10.
Position floral headband and secure with grips.
