The key to an impeccably sleek look is perfectly conditioned hair, and the right styling tools.
After shampooing, spritz the length of hair with a leaving in conditioning treatment, which will protect the hair and give the hair incredable shine. Apply a 10p-sized amount of Xtra flat evenly from root to tips and comb through. Blast dry hair until just damp, always pointing the nozzle down the hairshaft. Take small sections working from the jaw line upwards, clipping the rest of the hair up at the crown. Using your Denman barrel brush smooth the hair downwards as you point the nozzle of the hairdryer at the top of the barrel, smoothing from root to tip. Remember, the smaller the section the smoother the effect. Once the whole head is dry – blast with cold hair smoothing over the length with a Denman paddle brush. For extra sleekness run the straightening irons over the tops sections and the ends before finishing with a tiny amount of gloss crème to set the blow dry and add extra shine.
