Cutbacks in Tinseltown!
scissor frenzy has broken out amongst
some of the top names in Showbiz. 2010
is fast becoming the year of the crop.
All over Beverly Hills salons, long
tresses are falling to the Italian marble
floors and stars are taking to the red
carpet wearing pixie cuts, sculpted
crops and short flicks.
Renee Zellweger's new hairstyle was
actually created in her dining room.
The Oscar-winning actress is currently
sporting a blonde pixie crop after growing
tired of her current look and is pleased
with the job stylist Lori McCoy-Bell
did on it. She said: "She works on sets,
cuts hair in trailers on films. She
cut it in the dining room. She was very
brave. She just grabbed chunks of it,
twisted it and shredded. "She did a
great job - I was just really glad that
the other stuff was gone."
Renee says she likes to experiment with
her hair, especially when shooting finishes
on her movies. She said: "It was sort
of a job hazard sort of thing. It's
not worth keeping after a while. It
had to go. Shed the old." Renee - who
turned 41 recently (25.04.10) - says
"I've never been that girl who is dependent
on how fabulous my hair is or my stature
or that I look good in order to work.
