Each Solarzz styling iron is covered by an international 1 year guarantee.
During this period, if any defect in materials or workmanship occurs then Solarzz will either repair the fault or replace the styling iron.

Ensure you keep your dated receipt as proof of purchase and register your styling iron with Solarzz by filling out the registration form at the back of the instruction manual and then posting this to our registration department.

The defective styling iron must be returned in its original packaging with the proof of purchase.
The guarantee does not apply to irons which show signs of abuse and neglect and have damage to parts which in our opinion are not defective.
Nor does the guarantee extend to irons which have been tampered with, altered or repaired by anyone other than Solarzz or one of its authorized agents.
The guarantee does not include general wear and tear marks such as chips, scratches, discolouration, fading and abrasions.

The styling plates are one of the most important parts of any styling iron. Although the Solarzz Saturn and Venus are very different in design, they share the same fundamental technology when it comes to the styling plates:

• Solid ceramic heaters

Although the advanced microprocessor provides rapid heating, the solid ceramic heaters distribute the heat evenly on the plates which ensures that any part of the hair in contact with the plates receives the same degree of heat. As a result there are no heat flat spots on the plate.

Nano-silver and Tourmaline plates

The incredible styling results are achieved by the nano-silver and tourmaline plates which replace the conventional ceramic styling plates.
The nano-silver properties of the plate ensure the plate remains incredibly clean and free from bacteria.
Nano-silver technology is used in various applications and healthcare products, such as wound dressings, as it inhibits growth of bacteria and fungi.
Adding this quality to the plates ensures the hair remains clean and free from any bacteria while promoting a clean surrounding.

Tourmaline is a gem stone which once ground up and infused into the styling plates, emits a large amount of negative ions and infrared heat.
These negative ions and infrared heat lock in the natural oils in your hair which results in incredibly shiny and healthy looking hair, whatever style you choose.

• Saturn Styling Plates

The Saturn styling plates are longer than conventional styling irons with a length of 4½ inches.
Greater hair coverage is achieved while maintaining the flexibility of a slim plate styling iron as the width of the plates remain the same.
This results in shorter styling times.

Solarzz believe that having the ability to choose your operating temperature is particularly important because every hair type is different. Each Solarzz styling iron can adjust the heat using the appropriate function buttons. The temperature can be adjusted in 10°C increments/decrements by pressing the relevant +/- function button on the remote. The exact temperature of the plates can be viewed on the LCD display whilst the plates heat up. The operating temperatures for the Solarzz Saturn are:

Solarzz Saturn: 80°C to 210°C

We recommend the following temperature settings for each particular type of hair:

Fine hair: Between 140°C and 160°C
Medium hair: 180°C
Thick hair: 200°C
Very thick/afro-carribean hair: Between 210°C and 220°C

Whilst the above settings are recommendations based on hair type, each individual is different and it is important to assess the condition of the hair for any damage prior to styling especially if the hair is damaged/dry or has been coloured.

Here at Solarzz we realise that people should not be restricted of using their styling irons in another country due to the varying voltages.
Each Solarzz styling iron has a built in universal voltage function.
The styling iron will automatically recognise the different voltage and adapt the styling iron to perform the same as if it were in your home country.
In simple terms, you can take your Solarzz styling iron anywhere in the world and still achieve the same excellent results as you would do at home.

• Rapid Heating

Each Solarzz styling iron is controlled by an advanced microprocessor which regulates the exact temperature of the styling iron and provides incredibly quick heat up of the styling plates.
The microprocessor also displays the increasing temperature on the LCD display until the desired temperature is reached.
Expect to wait less than 30 seconds for your Solarzz styling iron to reach the desired temperature.

• Automatic Cut off feature

The microprocessor records the amount of time each styling iron has been operating.
The exact time is displayed on the LCD display.
If the styling iron is left on by mistake, it will shutdown automatically after a one hour period.
