How
to order |
There
is no need to download any software or apply for membership or
any other unneccessary complication to shop with UKhairdressers.com.
Simply browse the store and when/if you find what you are looking
for click the
button found alongside the item. You can also enter a quantity
in the box provided or amend it later in the shopping basket.
What is the shopping basket?... The shopping basket is
exactly what it sounds like.
So that you can make multiple purchases or carry on browsing until
you are ready to pay, we provide you with a basket which will
store any items you wish to place into it until you are ready
to pay.
When viewing the basket you will see a list of all the items that
you have added to it whilst browsing the store. You can delete
or amend quantities as often as you like until you are happy with
the contents. You can also change the delivery method for each
item in the basket if you wish your items to be sent Next Day
Delivery.

Payment
Options |
When
you have finished choosing your purchases it is time to arrange
payment. You can either pay online by credit/debit card with our
secure 128bit encrypted server or offline by cheque. There are
no surcharges for either type of payment.
Credit cars accepted are: Delta, Solo Switch, Maestro,
Matercard or visa.
To make your payment simply click on the CHECKOUT button
and fill out the form. These details are for the delivery address
and customer details. You will not be asked for any secure information
at this point. When you are happy that the details are correct
click on the proceed button. You can now choose how to pay.

payment page for debit/credit cards. If the cardholders details
are the same as the delivery details then you can leave this

Returns
Policy |
We
hope that you are pleased with your purchase from ukhairdressers.com.
However, we understand that there are occasions when you need
to return goods to us.
Goods Faulty on Arrival:
If you goods are faulty on arrival, you have 30 days to inform
us of the fault (please note that for business customers, this
is 14 days). When the goods are returned to us and the fault has
been verified, we will forward a replacement.
Goods Damaged in Transit:
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report
this to us within 7 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt
it is best to sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged
goods are received back in our warehouse we will send a replacement.
Goods Faulty in Warranty Period:
If your goods develop a fault within the warranty period, but
it's more that 28 days since receipt, you are entitled to a 'warranty
repair'. For warranty repairs we will arrange for the relevant
manufacturer to correct the fault and then return the fixed product
back to you. However, please note that this can often be a time
consuming process and in some cases you may get a much faster
resolution by arranging a repair directly with the manufacturer.

If you have changed your mind:
If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you
wish to return your goods, then in line with the Distance Selling
Directive (DSD) you can do so provided you inform us of this decision
within 10 days of receipt. The goods must not be opened nor used
and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you have informed
us of your decision to return goods under DSD, you have 28 days
to do so at your own expense. Once goods are received at ukhairdressers.com
we will issue a full refund for the cost of the goods to your
original payment method. Please note this policy does have some
limitations and does not apply to business customers.

to you with a returns number, which you must accompany with your

will my goods arrive? |
Goods
are usually despatched immediately if in stock. They should arrive
within 1-2 working days (UK) but stock limitations can effect
this. Maimum of 7 days for any item showing in stock at time of
purchase unless otherwise stated. You can check the status of
your order at anytime by going to our delivery page and entering
your order number and email address. You will be contacted if
for any reason we cannot despatch goods immediately.

will my credit/debit card be charged? |

credit/debit card will not be charged until your goods have been
despatched to you.
If you purchase Any item out of stock or delayed for other reasons
you will not be charged until they are available and have been
despatched. If for any reason we cannot despatch an item straight

card will remain undebited.

you accept payment by Cheque? |
Yes.
Simply add your items to basket as usual and proceed to the checkout
as usual. Fill out your details and proceed. Click Order Offline
when given the choice and an invoice will be printed. Sign this
invoice and place it in an envelope along with a cheque for the
correct amount made payable to UKWebwise and send it to us. Address

How
do I find what I am looking for? |
There
are several methods of finding items in our store
The left hand menu contains a list of catagories. If you
wish to buy a hair dryer you can click hair dryers on the left
hand menu and you will be shown a page containing all the hair
dryers we sell with a small amount of information and a picture
for each one. If there are more than 10 results found then you
will see page numbers where you can browse page by page all the
hair dryers that we sell.
The front page of the store also contains catagories where
you can click and be taken to a page where you can choose what
type of hair dryer you wish or what manufacturer etc
Enter search text into the search box provided and a list
of all the items that contain the words anywhere in their descriptions
will be displayed. ie entering the words hairtools will
produce a list of all the items which contain the word hairtools
in them.
