Cheryl Tiegs
Cheryl Tiegs was born on September 25, 1947 in Breckenridge, Minnesota, USA. She grew up in California, where she attended the Alabama High School. She is known as the first modern American supermodel.
Her modeling career started when she was 17 years old. In time, she managed to appear in magazines like Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE and Time.
In 1970, 1975 and 1983 she was seen on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, but her first professional appearance was in June 1996 on the cover of Teen magazine.
