The L'Oréal Colour Trophy
THE WINNERS

Following a fabulous, nail biting night at the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Awards, the winners were finally announced and the successful Salon teams leapt off their seats as the names were read out. The Trophy uniquely combines international fashion and innovative hairdressing into a thrilling competition. Over 1,200 British hairdressers and press came together to celebrate 'hair inspired by fashion' at a glittering award ceremony attended by the biggest names in the industry.

The Grand Final took place on Monday night at Earls Court, London hosted by the effervescent Fearne Cotton. Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception in a stunning monochrome bar area, dressed in Philippe Starck furniture and chic white leather sofas. Once the show was ready to start, the crowds were moved through to the main auditorium which was divided with a stunning stage and long catwalk. 27 teams competed for the L'Oréal Colour Trophy 'Female Look', nine teams for the 'Men's Image' and nine for the 'Young Colourist'. The standard was very high and the judges had difficult decisions to make, but here are the winning styles.
