	Emma Hodgkins from TONI&GUY, Chelsea Takes Top Honours at UK Final of the WELLA PROFESSIONALS TREND VISION AWARD 07
	Emma Hodgkins from Toni&Guy beat the UK's top young hairdressers to win Gold in the UK Final of world's most prestigious annual hairdressing competition - the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 07.

The Awards were live on Saturday 13th October, at the Salon International event. Hosted by DJ and presenter, Vernon Kay, an audience of over a thousand guests from the hairdressing world watched, Emma from Toni&Guy, Sloane Square, London, wow the judges with her stunning interpretation of 'Sensual Intrigue', one of 4 key hair trends for this year as predicted by Wella Professionals. The Silver award went to Michelle Beirne from Stuart James Hairdressing in Manchester, and Bronze to Maria Marques, Toni&Guy from Clapham Junction, London. Emma competed against around 900 young stylists from across the country to make it through to the UK Final held at London's ExCel. The final saw 20 talented young hairdressers battle it out to take home the coveted Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 07 UK title.

As well as taking home the title of UK winner of the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 07, Emma will go on to represent her country at the International Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 07 Final in Barcelona later this month, joining top stylists from Europe, Australia, Asia and the USA in the bid for the world title.

Emma Hodgkins is presented the gold Trend Vision Award by Vernon Kay The Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award is organised by the hair experts Wella Professionals, to encourage creativity throughout the industry, to promote new talent and discover the next big thing in hairdressing. This year competitors were challenged to interpret their favourite look from the 2007 Wella Professionals' hair trends collection: Pop Couture, Rustic Deluxe, Nordic Serenity and Sensual Intrigue. GOLD AWARD Emma Hodgkins TONI&GUY Chelsea Trend: Sensual Intrigue She says: Entering the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award has made me really step back and take inspiration from the world around, allowing me to focus on the key trends of the moment. It is a dream come true to win this year's Trend Vision Award UK Final.

SILVER AWARD Michelle Beirne Stuart James Hairdressing Manchester Trend: Rustic Deluxe She says: The Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award has opened my eyes in new ways and it is great to be able to branch out, explore my creativity and work with professional models. The idea of taking part in the International Final was a dream; I loved being a part of something so inspirational. It allowed me to push my boundaries to the absolute limit.

BRONZE AWARD Maria Marques TONI&GUY Clapham Junction She says: My manager and team have been a great support throughout the competition and were as excited as I was to be heading to the UK Final. And, it's not only the team's support that has been overwhelming, it's been great telling my customers too. I feel like a real star. It is my proudest moment to win a Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award.
