Dawn Cooper from the Racoon Artistic Team and owner of Scene, Scarborough
Since moving to Scarborough from London, Dawn has spent the last few years establishing her own salon, Scene. Dawn previously worked for Toni & Guy and has a wealth of experience in show work, including working on stage with Racoon International at Salon International before joining the team. Her passion for extensions stems from the versatility they give her as a hairdresser, "they open up more opportunities when changing someone’s style and I love seeing how happy people are when you completely transform there look. I feel like I’m making people’s dreams come true!" Before joining the RAT Pack, Dawn’s work had appeared in a variety of publications such as York Evening Press, Yorkshire Evening Post and HJ, was a regional and overall finalist at the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Awards 2004 and styled the hair for The Seahorses front man Chris Elms. Since joining the team, Dawn has taken part in various photoshoots and worked with celebrities such as Big Brother’s Leslie and Kerry Katona. She marks her highlight as jetting off to Las Vegas to fulfil a lifelong dream of visiting America and working with the legendary Anthony Mascolo. |
