 | Katy Perry loved posing for more ’natural’ shots for her latest ghd
campaign.
The ’Part of Me’ singer is the hair styling brand’s Global Brand Ambassador
and the new black-and-white shots are less character-based than her previous
campaigns.
Katy - who worked with photographer Ellen von Unwerth on the images - said: "It was fun to go a more natural route after playing characters in my last ghd campaign. Ellen von Unwerth captured both the playful and chic looks amazingly well." Paul Stoneham, Chief Executive Officer, ghd, added: "Our new campaign brings the ghd brand promise of a ’good hair day, every day’ to life. Katy, and Ellen have created something really special in these images, capturing the essence of ghd today." The classic yet fashion forward images see Katy with an array of covetable, wearable hair looks and exuding confidence - a positive message to inspire

 | Jennifer Lopez ’lives in T-shirts’.
The glamorous singer-and-actress insists she prefers to opt for a more
casual look when she is not working on the red carpet because the garments
make her feel "cool".
She said: "I live in T-shirts when I’m not doing the red carpet. I love the sexy, casual feel and the way a good T-shirt makes you feel cool. It’s like you’re not trying too hard." The ’On the Floor’ hitmaker is a principal and curator in teeology.com, a new online venture - founded by ShoeDazzle’s MJ Eng and Brian Lee and apparel manufacturers Erica Zohar and Jeff Marine - selling premium basic

 | Mischa Barton launched her first London boutique yesterday (08.08.12).
The 26-year-old actress - who has her own bag collection - opened up her
store in Spitalfields Market, east London, and she has designed all the
clothing and cosmetics collections herself.
She told vogue.co.uk: "It’s nice that everything now has a home, a hub. The brand was born in London, so I wanted [the store] to start here. Spitalfields Market is a perfect fit, because even though it’s East, it’s still very contained. The stores are really beautiful and old, and there are some really interesting brands here. It’s a good place to start. Also, now it’s super hip." Mischa says she based a lot of the clothes on her own personal style but
wants the collection to appeal to everybody. She said: "There are some very young pieces, some more sophisticated, mature pieces, and also some quirky stuff that’s more like my wardrobe. There are plenty of pieces for people who don’t just w... [more] |
