 | Rita Ora has signed a £500,000 deal to become the face of Madonna’s Material Girl.
The ’Hot Right Now’ hitmaker is no stranger to the pop sensation’s clothing brand after shooting several campaign photos in the past, but has now been given the official position after being recommended by Madonna’s 16-year-old daughter Lourdes, who co-runs the label with her mum.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lourdes has been a fan of Rita for a while and has been to many of her gigs. She persuaded her mum to see her.
"They met at the Met Ball in New York last week and Madonna admired Rita’s attitude so signed the idea off."
Rita, 22, was reportedly thrilled to be offered the opportunity and is hoping it will help get her music more exposure in the US.
The source added: "Rita jumped at the chance because she’s such a fan of the Queen Of Pop.

 | Donatella Versace has compared J.W. Anderson to her late brother Gianni Versace.
The fashion mogul is so impressed with the British designer’s capsule collection for diffusion line Versace Versus that she has paid him the ultimate compliment by likening his risk-tasking spirit to that of the label’s founder, Gianni Versace, who was tragically killed in 1997.
She said: "[J.W. Anderson] is not afraid to dare, he is not afraid to provoke. He’s not afraid of a mistake. It’s very like my brother - if you criticise less, you’re safe. I hate that word. I hate that way of thinking.
"What’s different about Jonathan is that he thinks about the marketing, the buying. He sees everything together - the provocative, the daring, but also how they’ll wear it."
Anderson’s clothing collection features 31 looks for both men and women which combine his androgynous aesthetic with the rock ’n’ roll spirit of Versus, at more moderate prices than Versace’s... [more] |
 | Selena Gomez is a ’sucker’ for shoes and handbags.
The brunette beauty insists she isn’t a big spender when it comes to shopping for clothes, but does find herself "splurging" when it comes to buying accessories to jazz up her outfits.
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video during her photoshoot for the June edition of InStyle magazine, Selena admitted: "It’s really funny, somebody asked me about how much I spend on clothes. I actually really like being a bit more cheap when it comes to my clothes, but when it comes to shoes or bags, that’s where I splurge.
"I love buying a really pretty bag or a nice pair of shoes and the rest of my outfit will cost like, $20. I’m that girl, for sure. I’m a sucker for shoes and handbags."
While Selena, 20, enjoys dressing in more affordable pieces when she isn’t in the spotlight, the singer always turns to other stars for inspiration when deciding what to wear for red carpet events.

 | Kate Moss loves giving people manicures.
The British beauty’s 10-year-old daughter Lila Grace has encouraged her to experiment with bright nail varnish and she loves trying out her manicure skills on her friends and family in her free time.
She told the French edition of ELLE magazine: "Thanks to my daughter, Lila Grace, who loves bright colours, I’ve been experimenting with fluorescent nail varnishes in pink, green or orange. I like those colours for summer.
"During the holidays, I’m head manicurist, I love doing my friends’ nails and my kid’s."
The supermodel might be famed for her effortless rock ’n’ roll style and blonde locks, but she insists women shouldn’t underestimate the power of well-tended talons to transform a look.
Kate added: "Nails have become very important in terms of personal style, they’ve become just as essential as make-up or hair. Because of that, I revamp mine a few times a week.
