1 Straight,
layered hair is shampooed, conditioned and rough-dried.

Take a section of hair from the crown and apply hairspray.

Hold
hair between the plates of the crimper for a few seconds,
then release

The
first section of hair is crimped. For this look you only need
to crimp the root section of hair, not the entire length.

Work
in this manner all over the head, clipping previously crimped
hair out of the way.

The
crimping is completed. To finish, tilt your head back and
smooth the hair with your fingers.
TIP:
For a smoother look, with lots of root volume, simply brush hair through with
a bristle brush.
